I led a party of 6 friends on a 4 trip to Lisbon and was apprehensive about my choice of hotel as others were saying stay downtown not there as there is no bar and it is in the commercial district. What a relief when without exception everyone thought Hotel White was excellent and sensibly priced as well. The rooms were spotless, extremely comfortable and well equipped and within a few yards there were some excellent restaurants and bars, not to mention the convenience of the Metro station on the doorstep. Finally I must not miss stating that the staff from receptionists to breakfast room were smiling and helpful and I would certainly stay in the White Hotel again!!

Lovely little hotel. Staff very friendly - couldn't do enough for us. Small but really well appointed. Lovely big bed albeit the en suite bathroom was a little cramped. Nice breakfast. Good locat(but taxis in Lisbon are plentiful and cheap anyway)

I don't often write reviews but this hotel deserves the accolade Location: on the red metro line - a direct line to the airport located a few steps from hotel front door Accommodation: deluxe room; a split level room (705) on the 9th floor with great views of Lisbon, three balconies, toiletries, comfortable bed. Loved the brightness and space. Bottled water replenished for free daily Breakfast: Perfectly adequate with juices, drinks, pastries, assorted breads and even a pancake machine Staff: available 24 hours and all keen to help We loved it and know exactly where to stay when we next visit Lisbon

Excellent hotel in a good location, the metro station is just outside which is great for getting from the hotel into Lisbon and to the airport! Hotel is very clean and lovely, we stayed on the 9th floor and had a balcony and the view was great! Overall I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting, such good value! Just as a note the swimming pool is having some construction work done, so it may be good to check if it’s open whilst you’re there if you’re wanting to go to the pool!

We were in transit and needed a hotel for one night so we could get an early start to the airport the next morning. This hotel was perfect, as it is located on the metro red line at the Saldanha stop, so an easy transfer from the Oriente main station on our return from Porto. The red line goes directly to the airport. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the metro stairs exit. Just cross one side street, and it’s on the right. The hotel is very modern, with a chic decor, and spotlessly clean. Our superior room was comfortable, and there were nice welcoming gratis touches like a bottle of water, apples, & cookies. The shower was a good size, and there were plenty of bath sheets & toiletries. There is a roomy lighted closet for luggage with a safe. There is a rooftop pool, but we didn’t check it out. The breakfast was worth paying extra for. The hotel served our purpose & I wouldn't hesitate to return again for a longer stay, especially in summer, to have a pool to cool off.
